- PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Duchesne County Commissioners will meet in a combined working meeting and regular meeting on Monday, January 12, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Duchesne County Event Center at 60 West 400 South, Duchesne, Utah, to discuss and act on the following: - Opening Comments - Pledge of Allegiance - Public Works Update - Discussion & Consideration of Purchasing a Side Dump Trailer for the Road Department - Discussion & Consideration of Purchasing a Belly Dump Trailer for the Road Department - Discussion & Consideration of Purchasing Semi Trucks for the Road Department - Discussion & Consideration of Approach Permits - Discussion & Consideration of Commission Chair Appointment - Discussion & Consideration of Commission Assignments - Discussion of Upcoming Legislation Concerns - Auditors Office - Vouchers - Tax Adjustments - Deferrals - Fund 41 - Purchases - Payroll - Surplus - Discussion & Consideration of the 2026 IRS Mileage Rate - Consideration of Minutes of the Combined Commission Meeting held January 05, 2026 - Discussion of Possible Subjects for the Next Meeting - Commission Calendaring & Weekly Updates on Events - Human Resource Update - Closed Meeting - Strategy Sessions to Discuss: 1- The Character, Professional Competence, or Physical or Mental Health of an Individual; 2- Collective Bargaining; 3- Pending or Reasonably Imminent Litigation; 4- The Purchase, Exchange, Sale, or Lease of Real Property; 5- Deployment of Security Personnel, Devices, or Systems; and 6- Investigate Proceedings Regarding Allegations of Criminal Misconduct - Consideration to Take Action Discussed Under Closed Meeting
