- Notice is hereby given The Mayor and City Council of Helper City, A Municipal Corporation will hold a regular meeting on the 8th day of January 2026. At the Council Chambers 19 South Main, Helper, Utah. The meeting shall begin at 6:00 pm. Agenda 1- Call to order. 2- Pledge of Allegiance. 3- Roll call. 4- Public Comment. 5- Approval of the minutes from December 4th, 2025. 6- Presentation of award to Officer Garrett Newman for exemplary service. - Chief Draper 7- Discussion and possible approval of setting times for the Mountain View Cemetery to be opened. - Dennis Ardohain 8- Discussion and possible approval of updated General Plan for Helper City with recommended amendment. 9- Discussion and possible approval of positive recommendation from Planning & Zoning for re-zoning of property 1377 North Frontage Road by Christie & Roegun Wilde. 10- Discussion and possible approval of local area consent for the Rio Theater. 11- Discussion and possible approval of USU Eastern civic auditorium use rates. 12- Discussion and possible approval of proposed Helper car show. 13- Discussion and possible approval to surplus Public Works mini-excavator. 14- Discussion and possible approval of a total of $5,000 toward street lights. 15- Discussion and possible approval of boiler estimates for Public Works building. Reports only from Council Members and Department Heads. Possible closed session. Adjournment
