- The Syracuse Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 6 pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall - 1979 West 1900 South, to discuss the following matters: Site Plan: Request by Monica Gailey for approval of a Site Plan at approximately 2397 S 500 W. The proposed site comprises approximately 1.427 acres in the A-1 zone. Conditional Use Permit: Request by Monica Gailey for a (Home Occupation) Conditional Use Permit at approximately 2397 S 500 W. The proposed business will provide educational services, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Preliminary Plat: Request by Ed Green for approval of the Preliminary Plat for Lakeside Flat located at approximately 2815 S 2000 W. The proposed subdivision comprises approximately 12.336 acres in the R-3 zone. Revised Site Plan: Request by Elliott Smith for approval of a revised commercial Site Plan located at approximately 1662 S 3000 W. The proposed site comprises approximately 1.24 acres in the GC zone. Rezone: Request by Blake Parkinson for a rezone of a property currently zoned R-1 located at approximately 2679 W 1700 S on approximately 1.034 acres. The proposed zone designation is SU.
