- AGENDA HUNTINGTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING August 20, 2025 Notice is hereby given that the Huntington City Council will hold its regularly scheduled council meeting August 20, 2025 at the city office building located at 20 South Main. Meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Agenda will be as follows: 6:30 P.M. Roll Call Opening Remarks Pledge of Allegiance 1. MOTION: CONSENT AGENDA - Approval of July 16, 2025 City Council Minutes - Approval of August 4, 2025 City Council Minutes - City Claims and Review of Financials 2. Discuss/approve/deny: Business license 3. Discuss/approve/deny: Proclamation/Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month 4. Public Hearing: Adjustment to the FY2026 Budget 5. Discuss/approve/deny: Resolution 10-2025 Adjusting the Budget for Fiscal Year 2026 6. Discuss/approve/deny: Re-bid the concrete pad project 7. Discuss/approve/deny: USU Eastern heavy equipment and trucking agreement 8. Discuss/approve/deny: Approval of Employee Raises 9. Discuss/approve/deny: Striping bid 10. Discuss/approve/deny: Railing at rodeo grounds 11. Discuss/approve/deny: Approving the adoption of the Emery County Emergency Operations Plan 12. Mayor's Report 13. The order of agenda items may change to accommodate the needs of the City Council, the staff, and the public. If necessary, executive session may be held in accordance with the Utah Code 52-4-205. The public is invited to attend all city council meetings.
