- NOTICE INVITING BIDS PROVO CITY CORPORATION will receive sealed bids for Construction of the 2023 Provo City Lakeview Parkway South Expansion, Bid No. PROVOEN202321887. A MANDATORY PREBID meeting will be held at the Provo City Engineering Office, 1377 South 350 East, Provo, Utah 84606, on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Provo City Engineering Office, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Failure to attend and sign in at the Mandatory Pre-Bid will result in rejection of bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The bids will be evaluated by the Public Works Department. WORK PRIMARILY CONSISTS OF: Construction of a new roadway including curb, gutter, median curb, asphalt paving, drainage, utilities, and other miscellaneous items. COMPLETION OF WORK: The WORK must be substantially Completed by September 1, 2023 with all punch list items completed by September 31, 2023. OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be obtained online at SciQuest (www.purchasing.utah.gov) or at the office of the Provo City Engineering Division beginning March 13, 2021. The cost of the contract documents, when obtained from Provo City Engineering, is $30.00 and is non-refundable. NOTICE OF PUBLICATION: Published in the Daily Herald March 10, 18, 20, 2023; posted on Utah Public Notice Board beginning March 10, 2023 through March 30, 2023; posted on SciQuest beginning March 15, 2023 through March 30, 2023. PROJECT INFORMATION: Information on the 2023 Provo City Lakeview Parkway South Expansion may be requested from David Michelsen, Project Engineer, (801) 852-6740.
