- NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF THE 2025 MUNICIPAL ELECTION TOWN OF ALTA, UTAH Pursuant to Utah Code ยง20A-1-206, the Town of Alta hereby gives notice that the Municipal Election scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2025, is cancelled. The election has been cancelled because there are no contested races for elective municipal offices. Each candidate for the open positions is unopposed and has been certified as elected. The following individuals are declared elected to office and will be sworn in at noon on January 5, 2026 as long as they remain eligible: - Roger Bourke, Mayor - Carolyn Anctil, Town Council - Craig Heimark, Town Council This notice is given and published as a Class A notice in accordance with Utah law.
