NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF THE 2025 MUNICIPAL ELECTION
TOWN OF ALTA, UTAH
Pursuant to Utah Code ยง20A-1-206, the Town of Alta hereby gives notice that the Municipal Election scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2025, is cancelled.
The election has been cancelled because there are no contested races for elective municipal offices. Each candidate for the open positions is unopposed and has been certified as elected.
The following individuals are declared elected to office and will be sworn in at noon on January 5, 2026 as long as they remain eligible:
- Roger Bourke, Mayor
- Carolyn Anctil, Town Council
- Craig Heimark, Town Council
This notice is given and published as a Class A notice in accordance with Utah law.

Notice of Special Accommodations (ADA)
NOTICE OF SPECIAL ACCOMMODATION DURING PUBLIC MEETINGS
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Jen Clancy at 801-742-6011. The Town of Alta will provide an interpreter for the hearing impaired upon seven (7) days notice.
Notice of Electronic or Telephone Participation
The Town of Alta has a policy that Alta Town Council members may participate in an Alta Town Council meeting by electronic means.
