- PUBLIC NOTICE CLINTON CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING TRUTH IN TAXATION | FY 2025-26 BUDGET | EXECUTIVE SALARY PUBLIC HEARINGS Notice is hereby given that the Clinton City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Clinton City Hall, 2267 N 1500 W, Clinton, UT 84015 for the following public hearings: 1. Truth in Taxation Public Hearing In compliance with Utah Code §59-2-919, the Clinton City Council will hold a Truth in Taxation public hearing to receive public comment on a proposed increase in property tax revenue above the certified tax rate for Fiscal Year 2025-2026. The proposed increase would increase the property tax budgeted revenue by 7.06% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. 2. Public Hearing for Final Budget Adoption and Certified Tax Rate Pursuant to Utah Code §10-6-118 and §10-6-135, the Council will take public comment and consider adoption of the Final Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026, including adoption of the certified tax rate as required by law. 3. Executive Salary Increase Public Hearing In accordance with Utah Code §10-3-818, the City Council will receive public input on proposed compensation increases for executive salaries for Fiscal Year 2025-2026. Public Comment: All interested persons are invited to attend and provide comment in person or via zoom at the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89174875476 Meeting materials including the proposed budget, salary schedule, and tax rate documents will be available for review at www.clintoncity.com and at City Hall at least seven days prior to the hearing during business hours. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations during this meeting should notify the City Recorder at (801) 614-0700 at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting.
