- BUSINESS MEETING 1) Welcome and approval of the agenda. (Motion/Voting) LAND USE APPLICATION(S) CUP2023-000804 - Luis Garcia is requesting a Conditional Use approval for a construction trailer. Acres: 15.02. Location: 5959 South Cougar Lane. Zone: R-M. Planner: Justin Smith (Motion/Voting) PUBLIC HEARING(S) OAM2022-000724 - Public Hearing on Drafted Titles 18 and 19 (Zoning & Subdivisions). The Planning Commission has been working with staff over the past year to draft amendments to Title 18 (Subdivisions) and Title 19 (Zoning) of Kearns Municipal Code. This item affects all areas within Kearns Metro Township. The drafted sections of Title 18 and Title 19 will be proposed as a repeal and replacement of existing Titles 18 and 19 of Municipal Code. This item covers ordinance text amendments ONLY. There are no map amendments proposed at this time. Planners: Kayla Mauldin and Brian Tucker (Motion/Voting) BUSINESS MEETING (Cont.) 2) Approval of the March 6, 2023 Planning Commission Meeting Minutes. (Motion/Voting) 3) Planning Commission 2023 Goals. The Planning Commission will hold a brief discussion where they will set 3-5 goals to achieve in 2023. This item may include a discussion of the steps that will be taken to achieve those goals. Setting goals will help the Commission prioritize its work for the year and align its vision with that of the Kearns Metro Township Council. Planner: Kayla Mauldin. 4) Other Business Items.
