- Notice is hereby given that the Logan Municipal Council will hold its regular meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in the Logan Municipal Council Chambers located at 290 North 100 West, Logan, Utah 84321. Council meetings are televised live as a public service on Channel 17 and streamed on the City of Logan YouTube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFLPAOK5eawKS_RDBU0stRQ 5:30 p.m. REGULAR MEETING AGENDA 1. Call to Order: Chair Jeannie F. Simmonds 2. Opening Ceremony: Cache Refugee and Immigrant Connection (CRIC) - Mary DaSilva, Member and Board of Trustees for CRIC 3. Acceptance of Minutes; Approval of Agenda 4. 2025 regular meeting schedule, 1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 5:30 p.m.: Next meeting: June 17, 2025 5. QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS FOR MAYOR AND COUNCIL: Any person wishing to comment on any item not otherwise on the agenda may address the City Council at this point by stepping to the microphone and giving his or her name and the City where you reside for the record. Comments should be limited to not more than three (3) minutes, unless additional time is authorized by the Council Chair. Citizen groups will be asked to appoint a spokesperson. This is the time and place for any person who wishes to comment on non-agenda items and items that are germane or relevant to the authority of the City Council. Items brought forward to the attention of the City Council will be turned over to staff to provide a response outside of the City Council meeting. ESTIMATED time of consideration 6. MAYOR/STAFF REPORTS: A. Update: Main Street Underpass Status - Paul Lindhardt, Public Works Director B. Update: RAPZ Funding - Russ Akina, Parks & Recreation Director 7. COUNCIL BUSINESS: A. Planning Commission Update - Chair Simmonds B. Board and Committee Reports - Chair Simmonds and Councilmember M. Anderson C. July Meeting Schedule - Chair Simmonds 6:15 8. ACTION ITEM: A. PUBLIC HEARING - Budget Adjustments FY 2024-2025 appropriating: $4,975 a grant the Police Department was awarded by the State of Utah to be used to purchase police equipment; $8,946 funds received for police overtime shift reimbursements; $250,000 street and engineering revenues toward related inspection expenses - Resolution 25-23 - Richard Anderson, Finance Director 6:20 9. WORKSHOP ITEM: A. Budget Adjustments FY 2024-2025 appropriating: $6,875 AARF Certification reimbursements for the Fire Department; $5,146 AARF Certification reimbursements for the EMS fund; $10,700 Cache Valley Electric donation toward a concert at the Laub Plaza; $2,500 funds donated to the Police Department for the annual banquet; $2,508 State grant reimbursement funds for Fire Department training; $3,030 State grant reimbursement funds for EMS training - Resolution 25-24 - Richard Anderson 10.
