- WALLSBURG TOWN COUNCIL SECOND CDBG PUBLIC HEARING May 1, 2025 - 7 pm 1. Call to Order Expected 7:00 pm a. Roll Call 2. Agenda Item: The purpose of the Second CDBG Public Hearing is to discuss the two projects determined to be applied for in the CDBG Small Cities Program in Program Year 2025: Wallsburg Town Stormwater Drainage Plan and Implementation. Comments will be solicited on projects scope, implementation and their effects on residents. 3. Adjourn Time: WALLSBURG TOWN COUNCIL OUT OF TOWN LIMITS WATER SYSTEM CONNECTIONS PUBLIC HEARING May 1, 2025 - Directly following Second CDBG Public Hearing 1. Call to Order Expected 7:30 pm a. Roll Call 2. Agenda Item: The purpose of the Out of Town Limits Water System Connections Public Hearing is to hear public comment and answer questions regarding connections of homes outside of Wallsburg Town-Limits to the Wallsburg Town Water System. 3. Adjourn Time: WALLSBURG TOWN COUNCIL OUT OF TOWN LIMITS WATER SYSTEM CONNECTIONS PUBLIC HEARING May 1, 2025 - Directly following Out of Town Limits Water System Connections Public Hearing 1. Call to Order Expected 8:00 pm b. Pledge of Allegiance c. Prayer/Inspiration Thought d. Roll Call 2. Consent Calendar: Be it hereby moved that the following consent calendar items stand approved: a. Agenda of the May 1, 2025 Town Council Meeting b. Minutes of the April 10, 2025 Town Council Meeting 3. Approve Budget a. April Budget and check register b. April Budget and check register questions 4. Public Comment (5 minutes): This is the public's opportunity to comment on items that are NOT on the agenda. Please come up to the table, state your name and address before making a comment, and speak loudly to assure comments are recorded properly. If you have specific questions or comments regarding items that ARE on the agenda, please contact the Wallsburg Town Council or Clerk after the meeting has adjourned. 5. Agenda Items: a. Board of Health Annual Report - Information and Discussion Only i. Jonelle Fitzgerald (Wasatch County Health Dept) will discuss the Board of Health Annual Report b. Main Canyon Road Project, CDBG Application Updates - Information and Discussion Only i. Troy Ostler (CivCo Engineering) will discuss status of Main Canyon Road Phase II & 2025 CDBG applications c. Building Permit Variance - Action Item i. Vote to accept recommendation from Planning Commission to approve Rob Fausett to build a 12' by 22' shed on an existing historical foundation where the old Ford store was located (20 North Center Street). The Planning Commission recommends to grant a variance for the minimum setback for an accessory building of 30 feet to 20 feet, with the provision that Rob Fausett makes a reasonable effort to make it resemble to old Ford store- with a rendering provided to the Town Council during final approval. The Wallsburg Town Planning Commission reviewed section 4.3.4.1 of the Wallsburg Town Development Code regarding variances and feels that this structure meets the criteria required to issue a variance. d. Out of Town Limits Water System Connections - Action Item i. Following public comment during Out of Town Limits Water System Connections Public Hearing held on May 1, 2025- the Wallsburg Town Council will discuss and vote on allowing connections of homes outside of Wallsburg Town-Limits to the Wallsburg Town Water System. 6. Department Reports a. To discuss continued agenda items, assignments i. Buildings (Scott Larsen) *fiber internet update v. Water (Rohn Hortin) *Water Project Update ii. Roads (Scott Larsen) vi. Mayor (Celeni Richins) iii. Cemetery (Mary Piscitelli) vii. Clerk (Alisha O'Driscoll) *election update iv. Park (Terri Eisel) b. Call for Agenda items for May Town Council Work Meeting (Expected May 15, 2025) Possible items: Budget Review, Fee Schedule Review, 24th of July Discussion c. Call for Agenda items for June Town Council Meeting (Expected June 5, 2025) Possible Items: Public Hearing for FY2026 Budget, Adopt FY2026 Budget 7. Adjourn a. Time
