- CLEARFIELD PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION AND PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA April 16, 2025, at 7:00pm Executive Conference Room 55 South State Street Clearfield, Utah Meetings of the Parks & Recreation Commission of Clearfield City may be conducted via electronic means pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 52-4-207 as amended. In such circumstances, contact will be established and maintained via electronic means and the meetings will be conducted pursuant to the Electronic Meetings Policy established in City Code § 1-6-4H for electronic meetings. Open Comment Period The Open Comment Period allows the public to address the Commission with concerns or ideas on any topic. Participants are requested to state their names for the record 2. Employee Award Presentation An employee from the Parks Department will be honored with the Award of Excellence for their outstanding contributions. 3. Staff Report Kristine Conley, Recreation and Arts Manager, will provide a report on the department's current strengths, challenges, weaknesses, and opportunities. 4. Park Watch Reports Commissioners will report on issues and concerns identified during their visits to assigned park areas during the month. 5. Key Information for the Park and Recreation Commission's to Know Update on I-15 Interchange, Ongoing staffing issues affecting operations, and updated Pond Status. 5. Organizational Items To review and discuss volunteer opportunities, upcoming events, and other key items to align with the commission's annual goals. - Finalize Skate Park Event - Discuss R.C. park COMMUNICATION ITEMS Council Liaison Minute Dakota Wurth, Council Liaison, will provide an update on recent City Council decisions. Commissioners' Minute Commissioners will present current and upcoming volunteer opportunities related to park maintenance, community events, and program support. Deputy Director's Report Curtis Dickson, Deputy Director, will provide a report on current and upcoming community events and initiatives.
