- Notice of Public Hearing April 2, 2025 (11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) BIL - PREVENTING OUTAGES AND ENHANCING THE RESILIENCE OF THE ELECTRIC GRID FORMULA GRANTS TO STATES AND INDIAN TRIBES Announcement Number: DE-FOA-0002736 Description: Public hearing to introduce the draft of the changes in the implementation of State of Utah's 5-year plan 40101(d) Formula Grant of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), grant program also known as the Utah GRID 40101d Grant Program. The Utah Office of Energy Development (OED) will introduce the draft of FY25 Program Narrative to be submitted to the Department of Energy (DOE) as described in the Administrative and Legal Requirements Document (ALRD). The State of Utah receives an allocation of approximately $5.6 million a year for 5 years. Currently, The State of Utah is on the third allocation cycle. This draft Program Narrative will be the framework for investing those funds in the State of Utah for the next 3 years. Questions will be answered, and comments will be taken from the public on the draft Program Narrative and those suggestions will or will not be incorporated into the final document to be submitted to the DOE.
