Board Business 4.a Contract Report 21-2252 - Duchesne County - Spent out and closed with $0.01 remaining 24-DWS-0418 - Uintah County - Spent out and closed with $135 remaining 4.b Annual Required Trainings (OPMA, GRAMA , Ethics) provided by Justin Anderson 5. Project Applications 5.a Ute Tribe - Renewal of contract 20-1552 Request to renew contract 20-1552 which includes the following projects: Admin Building Equipment - $57,978 Drive Storage System for IT Dept - $2,518.08 Myton Community Center Flooring - $2,047.25 Property and Supply Building - $8,438.46 Randlett Community Center Equipment - $4,828.31 Rodeo Grounds Equipment - $143,534.15 Run/Walk Trail - $10,256 Splash Park - $380,096.59 Uintah River High School - $168.08 Veteran's Monument - $0.01 Ute Language Program - $300,697.96 The request is for the contract to be extended until 12/31/2025. It is the intent that the Ute Language Program be separated into an independent project / contract and extended until 12/31/2029. 5.b Uintah County - Infrastructure Development Phase II - $1,300,000 Amending Phase I (24-DWS-0509) and combining funding for a total amount of $2,300,000 to complete the full Lucky Acres Infrastructure Development project, including completion of Phase I and general construction of items not listed in Phase I. 5.c Ute Tribe - Fund transfer and new allocation to 24-DWS-0523 - $30,075.20 Request for the following: * Transfer remaining funds from 24-DWS-0520 (Drain Jetter) - $9,924.79 ($11,310.00 available) and * Transfer remaining funds from 20-1110 (Misc community center projects) - $20,605.21 (total available) * Allocate $6,974.80 (difference to $37,700) in unallocated funding to 24-DWS-0523 (Admin Complex Roof Repair) to cover additional costs of change orders. 5.d Ute Tribe - Parks & Recreation Vehicle Purchase - $250,000 Request for $250,000 for three new vehicles (trucks) and three under carriage and light/remote kits to transfer plows and salt spreaders to the new trucks. Current trucks are 10-15 years old that were donated from other departments, and have repairs requiring discontinued parts which are very difficult or impossible to obtain. The new trucks will be used year-round for the Parks & Outdoor Department, and particularly for snow removal in winter. 5.e Ute Tribe - Brownsfield Vehicle Purchase - $50,000 Request for $50,000 for the purchase of a new vehicle, equal or similar to a 2024 Ford Ranger R4H XLT 4WD Super cab, for the Brownfield program to continue the Targeted Brownfield Assessment process of the pending Phase II demolition and upcoming update of the EPA Inventory for FY2025, and to start Environmental Assessment phase for assessments of abandoned and failing buildings on the Ute Tribe. 5.f Ute Tribe - GAP Vehicle Purchase - $75,000 Request for $75,000 for purchase of a new vehicle equal or similar to a 2022 Dodge Ram 5500 Chassis Cab 4x4 Truck without truck bed, for use by the General Assistance Program (GAP). Specifically this will help the GAP program to continue implementation of the pending Solid and Hazardous Waste Management Ordinance, and transport the overfilled Temporary Community Transfer Stations to the Uintah County Landfill. 5.g Ute Tribe - Recreation Vehicle Purchases - $150,000 Request for $150,000 for the purchase of 2 new cargo vans equal or similar to 2024 350 LR Pass XL AWD, XL Trim, for the recreation department to transport youth to lake areas, for travel to various events, to support a running club, and to transport necessary equipment to various meetings and events. 6.
