- ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the FOREST STREET UTILITY RELOCATION & ROAD CONNECTION PROJECT will be received by Brigham City, at the office of the City Recorder, 20 North Main Street (PO BOX 1005, if USPS), Brigham City, UT, until 2:00 pm local time on March 13, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing two roads and relocating utilities (sewer, culinary water, storm drain power conduit) in preparation for the installation of an overpass over Forest Street. There will be 852 lf of bored pipes installed, 2,650 lf of culinary water, 3,465 lf of storm drain pipe, and 2,430 lf of sanitary sewer pipe installed. The project also includes preparing and paving new roads, asphalt patching, new curb and gutter, patching curb and gutter, new sidewalk, patching sidewalk, new fencing, and all other work required to render the project complete. The project has an Engineer's Estimate of $4.8 million. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. All documents listed in paragraph 7.01 of the Bid Form must be submitted. A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 pm local time on March 2, 2023, at the Brigham City Public Works Building, 980 W Forest St, Brigham City. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged, but not mandatory. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Jones & Associates Consulting Engineers, 6080 Fashion Point Drive, South Ogden, Utah, (801) 476-9767. Questions related to the Bidding Documents are to be submitted in writing to Karter Isaacson, karter@jonescivil.com no later than 2:00 pm on March 10, 2023. Bidding Documents may be viewed and purchased online at www.jonescivil.com. Following registration and payment of $20.00, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as portable document format (PDF) files. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
