- CLEARFIELD PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION AND PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA January 15, 2025, at 7:00pm Meetings of the Parks & Recreation Commission of Clearfield City may be conducted via electronic means pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 52-4-207 as amended. In such circumstances, contact will be established and maintained via electronic means and the meetings will be conducted pursuant to the Electronic Meetings Policy established in City Code § 1-6-4H for electronic meetings. Executive Conference Room 55 South State Street Clearfield, Utah Clearfield City, in accordance with the 'Americans with Disabilities Act' provides accommodations and auxiliary communicative aids and services for all those citizens needing assistance. Persons requesting these accommodations for City-sponsored public meetings, service programs, or events should call Nancy Dean at 801-525-2714, giving her 48-hour notice. CALL TO ORDER: Barbara Bloomfield APPROVAL OF MINUTES: November 20,2024 and December 18, 2024 1. Rocky Mountain Grant Check Presentation Rocky Mountain Power will be presenting a generous $3,000 check to the Recreation and Arts Department. This donation will support ongoing improvements to recreational facilities and arts programs, helping enhance the quality of life in our community. 2. Open Comment Period The Open Comment Period provides an opportunity for the public to address the Commission regarding concerns or ideas on any topic. Participants are to state their names for the record. 3. Staff Report Community Services department managers have an opportunity to provide the Commission with an update on initiatives within the division. Recreation and Arts Manager, Kristine Conley, is scheduled to attend. 4. Park Watch Reports Commissioners have an opportunity to report back on issues and concerns that they have identified during their visits to their assigned areas during the month. Introduction of the program for new members and discussion on re-assignments to include new members. 5. Organizational Items - Overview of the Commissioner's Manual, including key updates and newly revised pages. - Discussion on the Commission's goals, focusing on current progress, upcoming objectives, and strategies for successful implementation. - Discuss Skate Park event on May 17, 2025, from 9am to 2pm.
