- PARK CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION Park City School District Office 2700 Kearns Boulevard January 21, 2025 Closed Session 3:00 p.m. Regular Session 4:00 p.m. Additional information is available the Monday before each meeting at: http://www.boarddocs.com/ut/pcsd/Board.nsf/public Time allocated to each agenda item is approximate and subject to change. The Board may vote to meet in closed session for any of the purposes set forth in Section 52-4-205 of Utah's Open and Public Meetings Act Board members may be participating by telephone. AGENDA 1 Call to Order Pledge of Allegiance 2 Closed Session The Board will adjourn to Closed Session for the purpose of: a. discussion of the character, professional competence, or physical or mental health of an individual; personnel b. strategy session to discuss pending or reasonably imminent litigation 3 Consent Agenda Regular Session Minutes of December 17, 2024 Closed Session Minutes of December 17, 2024 Special Session Minutes of January 8, 2025 Work Session Minutes of January 15, 2025 Closed Minutes of January 15, 2025 Travel Requests RFP Award Personnel Check Registers of December 2024 Board Revenue and Expenditures of December 2024 4 Monthly Reports Monthly reports will include relevant district level reports as well as: Employee Group Reports Student on the Board Report 5 Discussion 5.1 Board Meeting Dates/Time The Board will review the meeting dates and time for the remainder of the 24/25 school year. 5.2 Board Committee Assignments Committee assignments will be reviewed by the Board. 5.3 Community Survey Results The Board will review the community survey sent out regarding the Superintendent search. 6 Policies for Posting The following policies have been reviewed by the Policy Committee and are now before the Board for posting. Policy 5010 Inventory, Control, Use of District Equipment Policy 9010 Curriculum Courses 6-8 Policy 9075 Promotion, Retention and Remediation Policy 9105 Animals in the Classroom Policy 9106 Service Animals in Schools and Other Buildings Policy 10106 Students with Life Threatening Allergies 7 Policies for Adoption The following policies have been posted for the required 20-days, and they are now before the Board of adoption. Policy 4006 Cash Management Procedures Policy 5005 Building Access and Security Policy 7040 Extra Duty Assignments Policy 9080 Graduation Credits Policy 10005 Entrance Age 8 Public Comment (5:00 PM) The Board of Education wants to hear live input from community members at our meetings. In order to respect and preserve the time allotted to each presenter on the agenda, each speaker will be limited to three (3) minutes. Speakers representing a group will be limited to five (5) minutes. 9 Adjourn Notice: This meeting will be recorded (video and audio) and made available for one year on the district website (www.pcschools.us). In compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) during this meeting should notify Lorie Pearce at 435-615-0225, at least three working days prior to the meeting.
