Central Wasatch Commission Transportation Committee Meeting Friday, January 24, 2025; 9:30 A.M. 311 S. State St., Suite 330, SLC, UT 84111 Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission Transportation Committee will hold a meeting on Friday, January 24, 2025, beginning at approximately 9:30 A.M. You may attend the meeting at the anchor location: the CWC offices located in the Brighton Bank building, 311 S. State Street Ste. 330, or virtually by registering at the below link. Please note that after registering, you will receive an email containing a meeting access link. https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_S8ljKbHuTPWapHs-4gZ90Q Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the meeting of the Transportation Committee scheduled for Friday, January 24, 2025; beginning at 9:30 A.M. The agenda for that meeting of the Committee is accessible here: Utah Public Notice Website, the anchor location, The Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News. Civility and decorum should be applied in all discussions and debate. Difficult questions, tough challenges to a point of view, and criticism of ideas and information are legitimate elements of a free democracy in action. Public officials and the public are encouraged to refrain from making belligerent, personal, impertinent, slanderous, threatening, abusive, or disparaging comments. 9:30 A.M. Opening 1. Chair Dan Knopp will open the public meeting as Chair of the Transportation Committee of the Central Wasatch Commission. 9:30 A.M. Solitude Resort Parking Lot 1. The committee will discuss Solitude Resort's plan to build a parking lot in Mill F. 9:45 A.M. Millcreek Canyon Shuttle 1. The committee will discuss the viability of electric shuttles in the Tri-Canyons, including for a potential Millcreek Canyon Shuttle. 10:00 A.M. Central Wasatch Symposium Debrief 1. The committee will discuss the recent Central Wasatch Symposium. 10:15 A.M. Chair Updates 1. Sale of Catherine Pass Highway by Great Western Mining Company. 10:20 A.M. Staff Announcements 1. The Ski Bus Priority Access Program is underway. 2. Minutes approval process. 3. Scheduling the next meeting. 10:25 A.M. Other Items 10:30 A.M. Closing 1. Posted at the office of the governing body of each member entity of the CWC; and 4. Provided to the Salt Lake Tribune and/or Deseret News and to a local media correspondent. The audio recording and transcript of the meeting will be posted for public review. Commissioners will/may participate electronically. Meetings may be closed for reasons allowed by statute. Final action may be taken in relation to any topic listed on the agenda, including but not limited to adoption, rejection, amendment, addition of conditions and variations of options discussed.
