- Central Wasatch Commission Transportation Committee Meeting Wednesday, November 20, 2024; 1:00 P.M. 311 S. State St., Suite 330, SLC, UT 84111 Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission Transportation Committee will hold a meeting on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, beginning at approximately 1:00 P.M. You may attend the meeting at the anchor location: the CWC offices located in the Brighton Bank building, 311 S. State Street Ste. 330, or virtually by registering at the below link. Please note that after registering, you will receive an email containing a meeting access link. https://us06web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_3LJ4uKawSHqRX71u_WXI5A Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the meeting of the Transportation Committee scheduled for Wednesday, November 20, 2024; beginning at 1:00 P.M. The agenda for that meeting of the Committee is accessible here: Utah Public Notice Website, the anchor location, The Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News. Civility and decorum should be applied in all discussions and debate. Difficult questions, tough challenges to a point of view, and criticism of ideas and information are legitimate elements of a free democracy in action. Public officials and the public are encouraged to refrain from making belligerent, personal, impertinent, slanderous, threatening, abusive, or disparaging comments. Chair Dan Knopp will open the public meeting as Chair of the Transportation Committee of the Central Wasatch Commission. 1:00 P.M. Big Cottonwood Canyon Environmental Assessment 1. The committee will discuss submitting a comment for the scoping period of UDOT's Big Cottonwood Canyon Environmental Assessment. 1:15 P.M. Millcreek Canyon Shuttle 1. The committee will discuss the Millcreek Canyon Shuttle: a. Feasibility study. b. Parking, permitting, staging, and construction. c. NEPA. 1:30 P.M. Little Cottonwood Canyon 1. The committee will discuss what role, if any, the CWC should play in transportation/transit solutions in Little Cottonwood Canyon. 1:45 P.M. 2034 Olympics 1. The committee will discuss transportation issues related to the 2034 Olympics. 1:55 P.M. Staff Announcements 1. Ski Bus Priority Access Program begins on November 29, 2024. 2. Minutes approval process. 3. Scheduling the next meeting. 4. Central Wasatch Symposium on January 9-10, 2025. 2:00 P.M. Other Items 2:00 P.M. Closing 1. Chair Knopp will call for a motion to adjourn the Transportation Committee meeting. ___________________________________________________________________ CERTIFICATE OF POSTING At or before 1:00 P.M. on November 19, 2024, the undersigned hereby certifies that the above notice and agenda was: 1. Posted at the office of the governing body of each member entity of the CWC; and 4. Provided to the Salt Lake Tribune and/or Deseret News and to a local media correspondent. The audio recording and transcript of the meeting will be posted for public review. Commissioners will/may participate electronically. Meetings may be closed for reasons allowed by statute. Final action may be taken in relation to any topic listed on the agenda, including but not limited to adoption, rejection, amendment, addition of conditions and variations of options discussed.
