- Highland City 5400 West Civic Center Drive ~ Suite 1 Highland, UT 84003 Phone 756-5751 | Fax 756-6903 NOTICE OF HIGHLAND PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING The Highland Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on June 25, 2024, at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Highland City Council Chambers, 5400 West Civic Center Dr., Highland, UT, to consider and receive comments regarding the following: - Highland City is considering amending Sections 3-4111, 3-4211, and 3-4261 of the Highland City Development Code related to swimming pool regulations to consolidate swimming pool regulations and allow for greater flexibility in pool construction and fences and gates around swimming pools. - Highland City is considering amending Chapter 4 and Sections 3-4108, 3-4208, and 3-4258 of the Highland City Development Code related to conditional uses within R-1-20, R-1-30, and R-1-40 residential zones. The potential changes include allowing certain accessory uses/structures to be permitted, rather than conditional uses, and modifying the process by which conditional uses are approved.
