NOTICE OF HIGHLAND PLANNING COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING
The Highland Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on August 27, 2024, at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Highland City Council Chambers, 5400 West Civic Center Dr., Highland, UT, to consider and receive comments regarding the following:
- Highland City is considering amending the Highland City Development Code to comply with HB 476, including regulations related to required disclosures of water-wise landscaping requirements (HDC 3-621), procedures and timing for subdivision plat approvals (HDC Chapter 5, Article 4), and improvement completion and warranty assurances for sidewalks (HDC Chapter 6).
- Highland City is considering amending the Highland City Development Code (HDC Chapter 5, Article 3, HDC Chapter 11) to clarify that building permits for undeveloped or unimproved lots require improvement of the lot to City standards, including providing standard public road, landscaping, and utility improvements.
