- NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE EPHRAIM CITY The EPHRAIM CITY is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The EPHRAIM CITY tax on a $424,000 residence would increase from $229.4 7 to $250.22, which is $20. 75 per year. - The EPHRAIM CITY tax on a $424,000 business would increase from $417.22 to $454.95, which is $37.73 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, EPHRAIM CITY would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 9.45% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase. PUBLIC HEARING Date/Time: 8/7/2024 6:00 PM Location: CITY HALL COUNCIL ROOM 5 SOUTH MAIN STREET EPHRAIM To obtain more information regarding the tax increase, citizens may contact EPHRAIM CITY at 435-283-4631.
