9.C. BALLARD CIB APPLICATION 1000 S FROM 500 E TO 1500 E, JEFF BAKER
The proposed local collector between Roosevelt City and Ballard City at 1000 South (800
South) between 500 East and 1500 East is a priority project on the Transportation Master
Plans for Roosevelt, Ballard and Duchesne County. East- West travel between the
communities is somewhat limited. The proposed project would provide an additional
corridor to serve the general traveling public, emergency services, pedestrians, etc. during
normal traffic times and can be an additional route at times of high congestion such as
school pickup/drop-off, US-40 closures, etc.
Ballard City is willing to apply to CIB on a joint project to build this critical corridor.

9.D. SCHOOL RESOURCE AND FACILITY USE CONTRACT DISCUSSION, ALLEN TUCKER/AARON
BROWN
There is some confusion about the School Resource Officer Contract. When the new
school resource contract was approved, the final version was never signed (the contract
has since been signed.) The police department assigned an officer to the schools right
after the contract was approved and was expecting the full 60,000 for the 23 -24 school
year and 60,000 (plus 3%) for the 24 - 25 school year. At the time of this memo, neither
amount had been paid.
