- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING April 17th, 2025, 6:30 PM The Murray City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Murray City Council Chambers, located at 10 East 4800 South to receive public comment on the following application: Murray City is requesting a text amendment repealing the Murray City Center District (MCCD) and adopting the City Center Form Based Code (CCFBC) and a zone map amendment from Murray City Center District (MCCD) to City Center Form Based Code (CCFBC). The proposed amendments include the area located generally between the Trax rail line on the west, Center Street and Jones Court on the east, 4800 South on the north and Little Cottonwood Creek to the south. The area also includes several properties north of 4800 South (please see the attached map showing the proposed zoning district boundary). The Planning Commission will be making a recommendation to the City Council for this item. The City Council will conduct another Public Hearing to make a decision regarding this application at a later date. This notice is being sent to you because you own property within 500 feet of the subject area. Comments regarding this proposal at the meeting are limited to three (3) minutes per person. A spokesperson who has been asked by a group to summarize their comments will be allowed five (5) minutes. Comments that cannot be made within these limits should be submitted in writing at least one (1) day prior to the meeting.
