PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Iron County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and consider action (recommendation) during their regularly scheduled meeting, on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Festival Hall located at 105 North 100 East, Cedar City, Utah.
The County Commission will hold a public hearing and consider action at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, April 14, 2025, 10:00 AM, at the Iron County Courthouse located at 68 S 100 E, Parowan, Utah. The hearings are to receive public comment on proposed revisions and amendments to the Iron County Land Use Code - Ordinance 2025-4 'Adding Chapter 17.37 and amending Sections 17.16.030 - Table of Uses, and 17.20.010 - Definitions; and 'amending Section 16.22.070 - Development Standards'.
Considerations that create provisions and regulations for the permitting of 'Data Centers'; and 'amending Section 16.22.070 - Development Standards' (allowing smaller than zoning minimum lot/parcel sizes for remainder lots/parcels in 'Road Dedication Subdivisions').
