SYRACUSE CITY WEST DAVIS HIGHWAY AESTHETIC IMPROVMENTS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the West Davis Highway Aesthetic Improvements will be received by Syracuse City Administration at 1979 West 1900 South, Syracuse Utah, 84075, until 2:00 p.m., prevailing local time, on April 1, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time on that date at the address listed above. Electronic submission will not be accepted. The West Davis Highway Aesthetic Improvement project includes two locations and consists of: - Constructing monuments, retaining walls, corten steel bison, installing boulders, decorative rock, steel edging, irrigation, meadow grass, and native seed. - Location one is at the West Davis Interchange at Antelope Drive - Location two is at the West Davis Interchange at 2000 West - Substantial completion date is September 1, 2025. - Turf grasses to be installed between September 15th and October 15th or until ground is frozen. An electronic set of Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Agreement, Plans, Specifications, and other Contract Documents will be emailed to interested Contractors by contacting Stephen Marshall at 801-614-9621 for no charge. No paper copies will be available for purchase. Bidders must obtain the Project Documents directly from Syracuse City to be included on the official plan holders list. A bidder must be on the official plan holders list to submit a bid. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday March 18th at 2:00 pm at Syracuse City Hall located at 1979 West 1900 South. Email questions to smarshall@syracuseut.gov by March 21st at 2:00 pm to be considered. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, a bid security subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty-five (35) days after the date of the opening thereof. Dated this 10th day of March 2025
