- A public hearing will be held on the following matters: An application for preliminary subdivision plat for a one-lot plat, located at 3303 S 460 E. The applicant is Avenue Consultants. A petition to the Planning Commission to forward a positive recommendation to the South Salt Lake City Council for an Ordinance Amendment to update regulations related to Short-Term Rentals, including updating the Land Use Matrix. It is proposed that the ordinance will require all Short-Term Rentals to be owner occupied or to be owned by a South Salt Lake City resident. This will apply in all zones except for the Downtown District. It is anticipated that Short-Term Rentals will be limited to only residential districts. The applicant is South Salt Lake. If you are currently operating a Short Term Rental without a business license, please contact the Business Licensing Department to find out how to apply.
