Declaration of Candidacy Submission Deadline
JUNE 2- 6, 2025 8:00 am-5:00 pm (excluding Saturday and Sunday)
Those interested in being a candidate please reach out to the Lake Point City Recorder-Jamie Olson 801-725-5096 or jamie.olson@lakepoint.gov for an in-person appointment to meet at the Lake Point Fire Station (1528 Sunset Rd. Lake Point) during this time frame (June 2-9, 2025 8:00 am-5:00 pm). Declarations of candidacy must be made in person by the candidate or the candidate's appropriately designated agent.
Candidates must be a US citizen, at least 18 years old, a registered voter, and a resident of Lake Point for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the election and not been convicted of a felony. See Utah Code 20A-9-203 for more details. Candidates will be required to timely file certain financial disclosures related to their campaign or be disqualified.
