PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Trustees (the 'Board'), of Wasatch Peals Ranch Road and Fire District (the 'District'), will hold a meeting of the Board on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, commencing at 5:15 p.m., at 36 S. State St., Ste. 500, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84111 and via Microsoft Teams, at which time the Board shall proceed according to the following agenda:
I. ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
A. Call to order.
B. Public Comment. Members of the public may express their views to the Board on matters that affect the District that are otherwise not on the agenda. Comments will be limited to three (3) minutes per person.
C. Review and consider approval of minutes from December 10, 2024 special meeting (enclosure).
II. FINANCIAL MATTERS
A. Approve and/or ratify approval of payment of claims (to be distributed).
B. Review and consider acceptance of December 31, 2024 Unaudited Financial Statements (enclosure).
C. Ratify acceptance of Agreed Upon Procedures Report for the year ending June 30, 2023 (enclosure).
D. Review and consider approval of proposal from Hinton Burdick to perform audit for fiscal year ending June 30, 2024 (enclosure).
III. MANAGER MATTERS
A. Equipment Ordering
1. Plow Trucks: 30% deposit required by January 31 deadline.
2. Pick-Up Trucks: 90-day lead time for delivery.
3. BOSS Equipment: Anticipated 15% price increase in May.
B. District Facilities
1. Infrastructure: Offices, shop, salt storage, and brine facilities.
2. Site Plan: Development and review ongoing.
C. Heavy Equipment
1. Current Status: Grader, excavator, backhoe, loader, and skid steer on hold through Wheeler Cat with a May delivery.
D. Website enhancements to meet operational and communication needs.
IV. OPERATIONAL MATTERS
A. Road Resurfacing (Summer 2025)
1. Bidding: Planning underway for project bids. 0C/Peaksview
2. Techniques: Slurry coat vs. sealing coat methods discussion.
3. Operations Timing: Decision between night operations vs. day operations under consideration.
