NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on January 13, 2025, the Administrative Control Board of Washington County Special Service District #1 (the 'Issuer'), adopted a resolution (the 'Resolution') declaring its intention to issue its Parity Solid Waste Management Revenue Bonds (the 'Bonds') pursuant to the Utah Local Government Bonding Act, Title 11, Chapter 14, Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended and to call a public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Bonds. The Issuer shall hold a public hearing on February 10, 2025, at the hour of 5:00 p.m. The location of the public hearing is at 111 East Tabernacle, St. George, Utah. The purpose of the meeting is to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Parity Solid Waste Management Bonds in the amount of not to exceed $5,000,000 and any potential economic impact to the private sector from the completion of the construction of safety infrastructure, including but not necessarily limited to construction of safety infrastructure, including but not necessarily limited to demolition of existing scale house and scales, extensive grading, rerouting of power lines and utility connections, new access road, redesigned customer offload center and improved work and storage facilities for the technicians and other related improvements (the 'Project') to be funded by the Bonds.
