NEWTON TOWN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Newton Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 7:30 P.M. at the Newton Town Hall, 51 South Center, Newton UT 84327, for the purpose of accepting comments concerning amendments to Title 10-1 of the Towns Development and Subdivision Code.
The Town is proposing various amendments to the Development and Subdivision Code to address various clarity/correctness issues and ensure consistency and compliance with current State requirements regarding land use review/approval processes and subdivision platting requirements.
The proposed code, may be reviewed at the Newton Town Office during business hours or at https://www.newtonutah.org
Prior to making a final decision, the Newton Town Council and Newton Planning Commission would like to provide an opportunity for anyone interested to comment on the proposal before action is taken. If you are unable to attend the public hearing you may submit written comments regarding this proposed change to our subdivision code, by email to newton@newtonutah.org or mail to Newton Town, PO Box 146, Newton UT 84327 prior to the meeting.
