- Notice is hereby given that there are three (3) open seats on the Kane County Planning Commission. Two of these seats are for four-year terms and one is for a two-year term. Appointments begin on January 1, 2025. The commission meets monthly on the second Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Its responsibilities include discussing, approving and/or recommending Zone Changes and changes to the Land Use Ordinance or General Plan, reviewing and approving Conditional Use Permits, Plat Amendments, Lot Joinders, Lot Line Adjustments, and other land use matters. Anyone interested in serving on the commission may submit a letter of interest and a brief resume to Shannon McBride, Kane County Land Use Administrator, at the Kane County Courthouse, 76 North Main Street, Kanab, Utah 84741. Email submissions can be sent to smcbride@kane.utah.gov. Submissions must be received by Monday, December 2, 2024.
