A. Rio Tinto Emergency Response Plan Update, Jen Robinson
Rio Tinto will present its emergency response plan for the tailing facility along I-80. This discussion will cover preparedness measures and potential coordination with relevant agencies.
B. Network Provider Training Scholarships, Peter Clegg
Human Services received a state grant to strengthen the mental health workforce. A continuing education scholarship program has been developed to award a minimum of 12 $600 scholarships to licensed mental health providers. Peter Clegg will announce the first set of awarded scholarships.
C. Discussion of UFBG Grant for Pretrial Services, Dallin Littlefield
D. Governance and Data Privacy Policy, Scott Persons
The Information Technology Department requests the opportunity to present the updated Governance and Data Privacy Policy to the Tooele County Council for review. This revised policy includes updates to address new data management and privacy needs, ensuring county practices align with current legal and technological standards. Key changes include enhanced data security roles and responsibilities, more rigorous procedures for collecting and storing resident and visitor information, and clearer guidelines for interdepartmental data sharing. The IT department is eager to discuss these improvements, strengthening the county's ability to protect sensitive information and maintain transparency with our community. The presentation aims to give the council a comprehensive overview of the updates and to invite feedback, ensuring that the policy meets the county's goals for both security and accountability.

generator. The Sheriff will provide additional funding for the purchase.
Sheriff: Transfer $60,000 from the Vehicle line item to the Building Maintenance for the additional funding for the generator (Jail).
Facilities: Move $35,000 from Property Services to the Jail line to cover replacing the jail's boilers. Sheriff: Move $12,000 from Operational Supplies and Software to Training and Utilities for the anticipated overage in Dispatch.
