- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Administrative Control Board of Washington County Special Service District No. 1 (WCSW) will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Washington County building, 3rd floor training room located at 111 E. Tabernacle St., St. George Utah to receive comments on the District's application to the Permanent Community Impact Board for funding Phase 3 of it's Infrastructure Safety Improvement Project. This phase will replace the existing Customer Convenience Center with a larger, safer dumping location to keep residents from dumping on the working face around large heavy equipment. It also provides a covered work area for garbage can assembly and disassembly as well as storage for inventory and rolling stock. A complete and detailed scope of work are available to the public and it's financing. There is no planned financial impact to the public in user fees or special assessments for this project.
