2.a Approval of June 12, 2024 Meeting Minutes
3. Committee member reports.
3.a Education Team:
Discuss request from resident for committee to get involved with teaching ESLC classes in Draper. There is a high demand in the schools, mostly from parents of students that would like to learn English.
Need council approval to sponsor the class and use a city facility.
Thoughts about a name change to the committee and future goals.
3.b Business & Community Relations Team
Nominate an individual that lives or works in Draper for the 2024 Hispanic Heritage Congressional Recognition Ceremony.
Qualifications- must live or work in Utah's 4th Congressional District
Award Ceremony is Monday, September 30
3.c Events Team
Draper Days Recap- positives and items to improve on International Arts & Crafts Festival- Sept. 14- 10:00-6:00. Need committee members to volunteer- we have volunteers for the stage
Update on performers and vendors- Kellie
