- The City of Syracuse is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. - The City of Syracuse tax on a $554,000 residence would increase from $503.06 to $605.13, which is $102.07 per year. - The City of Syracuse tax on a $554,000 business would increase from $914.65 to $1,100.24, which is $185.59 per year. - If the proposed budget is approved, City of Syracuse would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 20.39% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
