- INVITATION FOR BIDS Twin Creeks Special Service District Lindsay Dam Outlet Pipe Replacement Project The Twin Creeks SSD is soliciting bids for the replacement of the outlet pipe and associated sluice gate and concrete outlet structure for the Bennett-Lindsay dam located in the foothills east of Heber City, Utah. Scope of work to include excavation of approximately 3,800 cubic yard of the existing earthen dam structure, removal of existing 10' diameter concrete pipe, installation of approximately 140 lineal feet of new 24' HDPE pipe, backfill and compaction of earthen dam structure, construction of concrete outlet structure, installation of new sluice gate, installation of operating rod, air vent line, concrete encasement of operating rod and air vent line, construction of concrete operating wheel structure, construction of concrete headwall at pipe discharge, re-establish riprap on face of the dam, re-establish gravel access road across the top of the dam and all other needed work to complete the project per the project plans and specifications. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on July 9, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Twin Creeks SSD Offices (also Jordanelle SSD office) located at 5360 North Old Hwy 40, Heber City, UT 84032. Bids are due July 18, 2024 by 1:00 pm MST by email of .pdf file to Contract Administrator Dave Fuller at dave@jssd.us or submitted via hardcopy before bid closing to the Twin Creeks SSD offices at 5360 North Old Hwy 40, Heber City, UT 84032.
