Leamington Town Ongoing Ordinance Update Review Meetings
Leamington Town Council and Planning and Zoning Committee will meet to review the Hansen Planning Group Rural Community Consultants prepared draft Leamington Town Ordinances. These ordinances were drafted from a review of current Leamington Town and Oak City Ordinances. They will be reviewed in their entirety before adoption by the town council. Public comment is encouraged, and the public can attend all review meetings to provide input verbally.
Title 4 is included for a public comment period that will end 30 days from this notice. Comments shall be submitted to Council Member Michael S. Lovell @ mr.michael.s.lovell@gmail.com. Title 4 can be reviewed and obtained at the Utah Public Notice Website: https://www.utah.gov/pmn/.
The next ordinance update review meeting is Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at the Leamington Town Hall, 61 Main St, Leamington, Utah 84638. Title 1 will be reviewed first, followed by Titles 2 and 3 if time permits. The review will not exceed one and a half hours.
The draft ordinance(s) will be projected for all to see and read while comments and recommended changes are submitted by all in attendance. The present council and committee members will vote on any changes that require adjudication.
Follow-on Ordinance Update Review Meetings will be held on May 29th and June 26th at 7:00 p.m.
The regular scheduled Planning and Zoning Committee Meeting on June 5th is canceled.
