Notice is hereby given that the Central Wasatch Commission will hold a meeting of the Legislative and Land Tenure Committee on Monday, April 29, 2024, beginning at approximately 4:00 p.m. at 41. N Rio Grande Street, Ste. 102, SLC, UT. A virtual option is also available. The public may register for the virtual meeting option at the following link, which is specific to the registrant and should not be shared. Please note: For in-person meeting attendees, masks are no longer required at the CWC offices, but are welcome for any attendees who prefer to continue using them.
Please take notice that a quorum the Board of Commissioners (the 'Board') of the Central Wasatch Commission (the 'CWC') may attend the meeting of the Legislative and Land Tenure Committee scheduled for Monday, April 29, 2024; beginning at 4:00 P.M. The agenda for that meeting of the Committee is accessible here: Utah Public Notice Website, the anchor location, The Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News.
The minutes of this meeting will be approved through the following process: The public body's secretary promptly will circulate a draft copy of the minutes to the public body's members, who then will have three business days to provide any proposed corrections to the secretary. The secretary will then circulate a revised draft of the minutes to the members, and the same review process will continue until such time as no corrections to the draft minutes are received within the three business days review period, whereupon that draft of the minutes will be deemed approved and will become the final minutes of the meeting.
Civility and decorum should be applied in all discussions and debate. Difficult questions, tough challenges to a point of view, and criticism of ideas and information are legitimate elements of a free democracy in action. Public officials and the public are encouraged to refrain from making belligerent, personal, impertinent, slanderous, threatening, abusive, or disparaging comments.

1. Chair Erin Mendenhall will open the Legislative and Land Tenure Committee meeting, and welcome fellow Commissioners, staff, and members of the public.
2. Review and approval of the minutes from the March 8, 2024 meeting.
4:05 P.M. Committee Updates
1. The Committee will discuss the activities that transpired between the March 8th meeting and today's meeting.
4:30 P.M. Staff Updates
1. Staff will discuss the recent activities of the CWNCRA working groups.
4:40 P.M. Land Conservation Discussion
1. The Committee will revisit the discussion of a reverse auction for land and conservation across the Central Wasatch Commission's study area.
4:55 P.M. Other Business
5:00 P.M. Closing
1. Chair Mendenhall will call for a motion to adjourn the Legislative and Land Tenure Committee meeting.
