Presidential Disaster Declaration (spring flooding) - there were 11 counties, only 5 got approved, including Utah County.
Anyone is eligible for PA if during the approved dates - RPA is due Jan 31, go to grants portal and submit.
While FEMA did come back with a specific date window, the State has said that they are appealing that window. For now, FEMA says to prepare documentation as if the project is within the dates window as this will help justify a need to expand those dates. Work directly with the state on this for an appeal.
Kelly Johnson - LEPC Chair
Saturday the Red Cross needed an ASL interpreter. Let Kelly know if you know anyone.

2024
Facilitate one or more meetings for Utah county hazmat stakeholders to discuss and coordinate currently available resources and to help Utah county SRT find appropriate funds to equip, supple, and train for hazmat responses.
We currently call out to the SRT for our hazmat response.
Trying to fund, integrate with Utah county, reduce duplication, make SRT more robust long term.
How the team really looks may change - but there is a lot of drive to make this a more robust and applicable team for the County with quick and effective responses.
If you might have supplies, sources of funding, etc. please come to the meeting when we have it.
SRT works throughout the County - not just in their response entity, but outside. There are 6 jurisdictions involved. Any larger response will require any city to call SRT - they all help each other out.
Question about if the SRT loops into other teams at the State level? - if we don't have the resources, we can call CST, CBRN, Task Force 1. The CST will be presenting later this year.
80 attendees (feel free as individuals to invite businesses, city partners)
Idea was put forth to have an ambassador - this currently is basically the EMs. Suggestion to get Mayors, Police Chief, Fire chief, here. Could invite Public Works, PIOs.
Train New Leadership (incoming)
