The proposed amendment includes four new full-time paramedic employees in the Fire Department's Medical Response Team, creation of a Legislative Division with four new full-time employees in the City Attorney's Office, over $6 million of additional transportation impact fees for reconstructing 2100 South through the Sugar House Business district and the 600 North / 700 North corridor transformation project among other items. The Council may also consider a resolution requesting admission to the firefighters retirement system for emergency medical service personnel and social workers, as well as an ordinance amending Chapter 2.08.040 of the Salt Lake City Code creating a Legislative Affairs Division and clarifying functions of the City Attorney's Office.
