Meeting was called to order by Mayor Sabey. Millie Bradshaw is concerned about flooding near her house where the road was built up in 2006 and flooded badly in 2011. It was discussed to contact the county commissioners and Brandon Rowe about a solution. There was talk of cutting the road if needed if it looks like it will flood. The town bought culverts in trade for having them installed.
Seiko Webb made the motion to approve the March bills. Braydon Deru seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Monika Schulthess made the motion to approve February minutes. Seiko Webb seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
Brian Carver will help with the application process and grants for the roads. Plans need to be in by May 1st and application done by June 1st. The money will be distributed in 2024. Mayor Sabey will keep in contact with Brian Carver.
The board talked about subdivision. Owners can only subdivide every five years. Water, roads, electric, gas, surveys, gutter, sidewalk and plat will all be done at owners expense. The subdivision ordinance has been updated so that a residential rural minimum lot area is one unit per 1/2 acre. A public meeting will be held next month.
Monika is going to get the information for the website to Mike Hansen.
The board discussed plans for the 4th of July. It was talked about having a bounce house this year and possibly some vendors. Donation letters were sent out the first part of April and buckles will need to be ordered the first part of May. Scott will talk to Louie Stuart and see if he is still willing to be the chairman again. Jem Wilson had mentioned she would do the hamburger shack.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
