Comment Period and Public Hearing for a Substantial Amendment to the Program Year 2021 Annual Action Plan HOME-American Rescue Plan Allocation Plan
Provo City as the lead entity in the Utah Valley HOME Consortium is opening a comment period beginning March 12, 2023, and ending March 28, 2023, on a Substantial Amendment to the Program Year 2021 Annual Action Plan-HOME-ARP Allocation Plan. The U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD), through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 allocated to Provo City, acting as Lead Entity in the Utah Valley HOME Consortium, $5,144,957 in HOME American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funds to assist persons experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, persons fleeing or attempting to flee domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking and other vulnerable populations as defined in HUD Notice CPD-21-10(4)(A). All citizens, partner agencies, as well as other interested parties are encouraged to attend the public hearing or comment as described below to provide their input into the development of this plan.
Notice is hereby given that Provo City will hold Public Hearings on Tuesday March 14, 2023, and Tuesday March 28, 2023, to obtain feedback on the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan for the Utah Valley HOME Consortium.
An electronic draft copy of the PY2021 AAP Substantial Amendment - HOME American Recovery Plan Allocation Plan as amended March 28, 2023, will be available for review at: https://www.provo.org/departments/development/cdbg-home no earlier than March 12, 2023. You may also request an electronic copy through email to mmcnalley@provo.org.
