Public Notice
Pursuant to Section 10-9a-501 et.seq of the Utah Code, Notice is hereby given
that the Vernon Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, 28
February 2023
at 7:00 PM at the Vernon Elementary, 70 Main Street, Vernon, Utah to consider
Ordinance 2023-06 Adopting a General Plan for Vernon Town, including
Adopting
an Official Map that Reflects the General Plan in Vernon Town.
A copy of the General Plan will be located in the Vernon Post Office lobby for
review. It will also be posted on vernonut.org Vernon Town web page and the
State of Utah Public Notice Website.
The General Plan can also be reviewed by contacting Doretta Shumway, 435
840-2043, 24 hours, prior to the hearing. Interested persons are invited to
attend and give comment on this Ordinance. Those persons with disabilities
wishing special accommodations may also contact Doretta Shumway, 24 hours,
prior to the meeting.
