Notice is hereby given that the Taylorsville City Council will hold a public hearing in the Taylorsville City Council Chambers located at 2600 West Taylorsville Boulevard, Taylorsville on November 16, 2022 at 6:30 PM, to receive public comments prior to considering the vacation of certain portions of the Hidden Place right-of-way, located adjacent to Lot 1 of the Hidden Place Subdivision, more particularly described as: A Tract of Land Located In The Southeast Quarter of Section 15, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian. Said Tract of Land Being More Particularly Described as Follows: Beginning at a Point Which is South 33°12'27' East 5.20 From the Northwesterly Corner of Lot 1, Hidden Place Subdivision, Said Corner of Lot 1 Being South 986.85 Feet Along the Section Line and East 2057.59 Feet From the Center Quarter Corner of Section 15, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Salt Lake Base And Meridian, and Running Thence South 33°12'27' East 192.50 Feet Along the Westerly Boundary Line of Lot 1 Hidden Place Subdivision to the Northerly Right of Way Line of Rinton Circle; Thence South 76°46'25' West 2.50 Feet Along Said Right of Way Line; Thence Northwesterly 13.44 Feet Along the Arc of A 26.00 Foot Radius Non-Tangent Curve to the Right, Chord Bears North 80°56'06' West 13.29 Feet to A Point 10 Feet Perpendicularly Easterly From the Existing Curb and Gutter; Thence North 34°13'05' West 176.98 Feet Parallel With Said Curb and Gutter; Thence North 36°11'18' East 16.35 Feet to the Point of Beginning. Contains: 2,558 Sq. Ft. or 0.059 Acres, More or Less. The proposed vacation will convey existing Taylorsville City Right-of-Way (ROW) property to the adjacent property owner. The hearing is an open meeting in which residents will have an opportunity to voice concerns or ask questions about the proposal. Input received during the public hearing will help the City Council understand potential impacts. This is the only public hearing that will be held on this proposed Hidden Place right-of-way vacation. Comments may be provided in-person at the public hearing or submitted in writing prior to the hearing date/time to: City of Taylorsville, Attn: Jamie Brooks, City Recorder, 2600 West Taylorsville Boulevard, Taylorsville, UT 84129. Written comments may also be submitted via email prior to the hearing date/time to jbrooks@taylorsvilleut.gov.
