- NOTICE OF BOARD VACANCY - INVITATION TO APPLY PINION FOREST SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT NOTICE is hereby given that the Pinion Forest Special Service District has two openings on its administrative control board. The administrative control board meets monthly and directs the operations of the Special Service District, which operates a bulk-water dispensing station. A board member will be expected to attend and participate in board meetings and provide oversight to district personnel and contractors. The primary qualification to being a board member is to live within the boundaries of the district. Duchesne County officers and employees may also be appointed. Qualified persons are invited to submit applications to serve as a member of the board of the Pinion Forest Special Service District to the secretary of the Duchesne County Commission, Ms. Melissa Hughes, at 734 North Center Street, Duchesne, Utah 84021 or by email at melissa.hughes@duchesne.utah.gov on or before 5:00 p.m. on September 9, 2022. Questions regarding the application should be directed to Ms. Hughes at (435) 738-1139. A decision on appointments is anticipated to be made on September 14, 2022. Appointments will be for a four-year term.
