Welcome and Attendance A. New Board members II. Approval of the February Minutes III. Approval of March Agenda IV. Friends of the Library Report V. Director Report A. City Report Summary B. Board familiarized with event calendar at https://www.springville.org/library/ VI. Supervisor Spotlight VII. Training - A. Review Library Board Bylaws, the most recent version sent via email. B. Next Meeting: training - 1. either Budget and Funding (previously scheduled for May 2022) 2. or possibly 'Measuring and representing the interests of the community' (previously scheduled for Sept 2022) see https://www.ala.org/tools/librariestransform/libraries-transforming-commu nities/focusgrants/guidelines and https://www.ala.org/tools/librariestransform/libraries-transforming-communities/resources-for-library-professionals for resources for this training. 3. Schedule state library training for 2022 (Previously scheduled for April 2022) VIII. Policy Review: Unattended Child Policy as currently drafted. (attached in email when this agenda was sent.) IX. Hold Elections for April 2022 term X. Meeting schedule -If we meet 6x/year what will our meeting schedule be? Update our meeting proposal submission to the City. A. Determine revised Training schedule/Policy Review Schedule with new meeting schedule. XI. City Council Report XII. Adjournment: NEXT MEETING: (tentative) May 12 @ 7pm in Library Board Room, 2nd floor. (With pre-meeting tour for board members beforehand) XIII. (After meeting) - make sure all board members have access to Google Drive folder and documents.
