- Welcoming Salt Lake is an annual celebration bringing together people and local events that celebrate the contributions of immigrants and refugees and highlight the role communities play in ensuring everyone feels welcome.

9. (Action) 1:05 pm (10 minutes) Recommendation from Conference of Mayors (COM) and the Salt Lake Valley Coalition to End Homelessness (SLVCEH) to COG on the homeless overflow plan - Mayor Dirk Burton to introduce Mayor Troy Walker
- On or before September 1st, COG submits the proposed overflow plan to the State Office of Homeless Services
10. Jurisdiction Water Rates Increases/Tier Structures - Mayor Dirk Burton introduces Mayor Monica Zoltanski

You're invited: Tour of Salt Lake City and County Building Hosted by Salt Lake City Councilmember Dan Dugan
The Salt Lake City & County Building is one of the City's most beloved landmarks. Completed in 1894, the building is Utah's finest example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. The civic campus continues to be the place where people can openly, safely, and comfortably demonstrate their rights to free speech, to peacefully assemble and to petition the government. Additionally, the civic campus and building serves as place for people to gather, socialize and be entertained.
If you are not able to attend, you are welcome to do a self-guided tour of the building. Link to the guidebook is located at https://www.slc.gov/district4/tour-district-4/city-and-county-building/
Date of Tour: Thursday, August 25th
Meeting time and time duration of tour: 8:00 am (tour duration: approximately 1 hour)
Where to Meet: Meet on the east side of the City & County building on the steps into the building.
Parking: Metered street parking is available on the east and west side of the City & County Building
What to wear: comfortable shoes and clothing as you will be climbing stairs to reach the tower
