Description/Agenda: VIRGIN TOWN PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE A Public Hearing will be held August 10, 2022 During a regularly scheduled Virgin Planning & Zoning Meeting At 6:30 PM in the Heritage Town Square 114 S. Mill Street Virgin, Utah Ph: 435-635-4695 Clerk@Virgin.Utah.Gov To accept public input on the following items: A. . Chapter 44 Lot size exemption for Highway Resort Zone If passed the change will Allow for non-conforming lots that meet other requirements to be eligible for Highway resort zone. Will allow for more commercial in the designated areas. B. Remove Section 60.02 from 'VULU' currently allows for short-term rental development overlay zone on new subdivisions in Virgin. If passed the change will eliminate new subdivisions to be short -term rentals. Excessive vacation rentals change the character of the town. Removing this chapter will allow housing for long-term residents to rent or purchase.
