NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Ogden City Council received an annexation petition from Rick Scadden, George Evans, and Brett Johnston to annex property into the corporate limits of North Ogden City. The property contains 9.93 acres in area and is located at 3525 North 100 West in North Ogden, Utah. The City Council received certification from Susan Nance, City Recorder on June 9, 2022. Copies of the proposed annexation are available from the City Recorder at 505 East 2600 North, North Ogden, Utah.
A tract of land located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 20, Township 7 North, Range 1 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian; said tract lying north of the Ogden Brigham Canal, said canal described and recorded in Book 122 page 385 and Book 122 page 551 in 1935 and 1936; described as follows:
Commencing at a point located on the north line of the Ogden Brigham Canal and the Quarter Section line, said point being located North 00°03'16' East 551.48 feet, FROM the South Quarter corner of said Section 20;

The City Council will receive written protests to this annexation from the legislative or governing bodies of the affected entities until July 14, 2022, at 5pm. Only written protests by legal protesters will be considered. A written protest to this annexation must be filed with the Weber County Board of County Commissioners, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah 84401. A copy of said protest must also be provided to Susan Nance, City Recorder, North Ogden City, 505 East 2600 North, North Ogden, Utah 84414 by July 14, 2022. If written protests are received, the City Council will evaluate and determine the validity of the protest and if the protests are from legal protesters. Upon the completion of such an evaluation and determination, the City Council may or may not adopt an Ordinance annexing this property on July 26, 2022.
